March 24, 2010 - It's Been One Full Month Since I've Worked!
11:45 AM
2009 was a rough year for me and so far 2010 hasn't been much better. I feel as though I've lost my way over the years. I'm not depressed but I could always be happier. I think when I was doing my blog in the past, it was an outlet for me and it helped in some way. I've since stopped and don't remember why. No big deal now, I can just start doing it again.
where to start. I'm sure it will be a jumble of thought until I get set.
This morning around 8:30 A.M. decided to walk to Starbucks for my Granda Chai Tea (no water) and sit there on 2 ND street and people watch for a bit. After about 20 minutes and 5 "good morning and or hello's" I was off to the beach to get some sun. I laid out my towel on the cool sand and proceeded to undress. My skin is as white as a vampires skin (if there were vampires). I laid there reading for a good thirty minutes as the clouds whisked by. I was getting a bit cold but wanted to stay for at least an hour. I turned over for another half hour then out of the corner of my eye all these kids with plastic bags were heading towards me (why aren't they in school?!). I looked at my watch real fast and put my clothes on even faster, too late they were within a few feet of me before I was all covered up. I probably blinded them with my oh so white skin.
Within the last few weeks I've taken my mom on many day trips. It's actually been fun hanging out with her going to lunch, shopping and hiking through parks and gardens. At first I was sleeping in too much and watching too much T.V., I've come to find that it's a waste of time and I needed to get up and go do something even if it meant going to my moms house to do my laundry or help her with something or even going for a long walk on the beach.
I've seen a few movies lately. The Hurt Locker was really good as was The Runaways. I can't believe what a great job both Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart did as Cherie Currie and Joan Jett. They were both spot on! I've also recently seen Crazy Heart. WOW! Now that was a great movie. The story, the music, the acting...all amazing! Avatar was also great. It was very entertaining, it was a story that I wanted to never end. I saw Shutter Island and felt lost and bored towards the end. Before Coco was a really interesting movie about Coco Chanel before she became famous.
Movies I'm looking forward to: Youth in Revolt, Iron Man 2, Twilight (eclipse), Hot Tub Time Machine ( i know, i know...), Sex and the City 2, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky, When You're Strange (Johnny Depp), Don McKay, Kick-Ass, Please Give, The Good Heart and Letters to Juliet.
It's now 12:41 and I should be outside enjoying the sun some more or at least doing something besides sitting at my computer. Although there is a nice beach breeze running through my apartment at the moment that is quite nice.
cheers... more to come.
