“…..Let’s do some livin’, after we die.” Thursday November 16, 2006
I’ve just started reading a book by Ethan Hawke called ‘Ash Wednesday’, so far so good. I’m going to my second Kings, Ice Hockey game tonight. My friend Rick and our friend Kerri are going together. She somehow got 3 free tickets, pretty great seats I might add. I’m skipping my Karate class for it. I’ve decided that I’ve been working out way too much lately between the gym and Karate. I tend to not have much time for anything else. No social life.
Tomorrow is Jeff Buckley’s Birthday. He would have been 40 if he did not drown in Memphis on May 29, 1997. So crank up your favorite Jeff Buckley Album today to honor his memory as he should be honored.
On Saturday, The Lemonheads (Evan Dando) will be gracing us at the Galaxy Theatre in Orange County. Also on the same night, Sabrosa Purr will be at Safari Sams in L.A. It’s hard to choose….. There are a few galleries that I’d like to check out this weekend as well.
1. Morrison Hotel Gallery Work of Neal Preston 7517 w. sunset blvd
2. Musician Photo Gallery "Jagger & Morrison" 10959-A Venice Blvd. LA
3. 14 and Shooting Jennifer Finch Aidan Ryley Taylor Gallery, 1639 Vine St., Hollywood
I’m going to see The Rolling Stones at Dodger Stadium next week and then see The Pernice Brothers in San Diego a few days after. I’m pretty excited. The following weekend I’m going to Santa Barbara with my Karate Club to practice at their Do Jo. That will be a cool experience.
I bought Sirius Radio, a plug and play type thing but my cigar lighter doesn’t have any power. I’m bummed. Ever since I got my jeep back from the F’in dealer, I find more things wrong with it. I’m sure it’s not the fuse and it’s a cable that they disconnected or something like that. Hopefully I'll have this fixed by the weekend.
