Music: Silversun Pickups
Another night at the largo........Listening to Dylan's "it's all over now baby blue" while eating honey baked chicken and to top off an otherwise great night, Jon Brion heed my request of yelling out "THE STONES" in my loud voice which is really not loud at all. What a wonderful night it was!
I didn't write anything down but I can tell ya that as soon as i heard him start out with "let's spend the night together" I was very pleased and then just plan excited when he belted out "beast of burden". Then at the end of the night he asked the audience for a short song to end the night with..... I yelled out "Napalm Death" but I guess he didn't hear me this time. I could have listened to him do stones songs all night long. Besides loving the Stones so much, I have been reading a book by Stephen Davis (author of hammer of the gods and walk this way...... it says it right there on the cover of the book) It's called OLD GODS ALMOST DEAD and it's a 40-year odyssey of the Rolling Stones. I'm up to the point where they are finishing up "Let it Bleed" and Brian Jones just died. So far I can tell you that Keith Richards is my favorite stone. I can't believe how many illegitimate children of the Stones are out there..... by Brian alone!

tonight there is this really cool band playing at Spaceland called The Heartless Bastards, I've heard good things about them. also Unsane is at Alex's Bar in Long Beach or Grant Lee is at Largo.
